From airport (YVR):
Leaving Vancouver International Airport, by vehicle, follow the signs toward Vancouver/downtown which you will see again as an exit labeled as "Granville Street" as you cross the Arthur Laing bridge. Very shortly after exiting, turn left on 70th Avenue and then right onto Southwest Marine Drive. Follow South West Marine Drive for several miles until you reach Dunbar Street. Turn right onto Dunbar Street and drive north towards the mountains until you reach 16th Avenue (a major intersection with lights). Turn left onto 16th Avenue and drive west past two schools (one on your right, and one on your left with a big playing field) until you reach Tolmie Street. Turn right onto Tolmie Street, drive 4 blocks until 12th Avenue, turn right onto 12th Avenue, and you will see Casa Mora on your right in the middle of the block. Parking is in the street and this is a safe neighbourhood. There is usually lots of parking and it is not restricted but as neighbourhoods, we respect the tradition of parking immediately in front of our own residences, so please park immediately in front of Casa Mora, facing east.
From Seattle and the south: If you are driving into the Vancouver from Seattle or the south, the directions are very similar, except you will be crossing the Oak Street bridge and as you cross the bridge you will see signs for Marine Drive East (first) and then Marine Drive West (second). Take the second of those exits (S.W. Marine Drive) and after completing the exit, follow the Marine Drive West signs onto Granville Street. As soon as possible, get into the far left lane and turn left onto 70th Avenue, over to Southwest Marine Drive once again and from this point follow the same directions as above, from the airport (eg. to Dunbar Street and turn right, etc.). If you happen to miss the left turn onto 70th Avenue, you will have a second opportunity, at the intersection itself (time depending) and otherwise, continue north on Granville Street until 49th avenue, turn left onto 49th and after several miles, it will also take you to South West Marine Drive.
From downtown Vancouver (or from North Vancouver, Squamish, Powell River or the Sunshine Coast via downtown)
Go south, away from the mountains, on either Granville Street or Burrard Street, over the bridge (both streets have a bridge), to West Broadway (also called West 9th Avenue). Turn right onto West Broadway and travel 23 or 23 blocks west until you cross Alma St. Proceed west on Broadway up the magnificent avenue of plane trees and continue (now on W. 8th Ave) to the top of the hill, where you can pause in the car park for one of the city’s most spectacular views. Continue 2 blocks further west, on West 8th Avenue to Sasamat Street, turn left onto Sasamat and drive south for a few blocks to busy West 10th Avenue, turn right onto 10th Avenue, proceed one block west to Tolmie Street, turn left onto Tolmie, then drive the 2 short blocks to 12th Avenue. Turn left onto 12th avenue, and you will see Casa Mora on your right halfway along the block. Please park in front of Casa Mora facing east.
From Hope and the east via Highway 1 -- The Trans Canada Highway
Take the Grandview Highway Exit and continue driving west. Grandview Highway eventually becomes 12th Avenue. Continue west on 12th Avenue crossing Main Street, Cambie Street, Granville Street, and just before MacDonald Street 12th Avenue snakes and becomes 10th Avenue. Continue west on 10th Avenue, crossing Dunbar (a.k.a. Alma Street) and up the large hill until you reach the flat again. Cross Sasamat street and then turn left on Tolmie Street and left again on 12th Avenue. Casa Mora is half way up the block on your right.
