Garden Suite Entry

The Garden Suite is a bright, very comfortable and colorful one bedroom suite. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the living area has a single pull-out sofabed. There are windows on three sides of this suite and thus it is bright but lovely and cool in the summer. The floors throughout are a beautiful deep green slate and the walls are a hand textured plaster. A Persian carpet adds warmth and color to the bedroom. The entrance to this suite is 3 steps down from the ground level but the house is 4 or 5 steps above the street level. |

This suite has a kitchenette with a small fridge, a sink with a very high quality water filtration system (Aquapure) a large microwave/convection oven and a two-burner electric cooktop. The kitchenette is fully equipped with dishes and cooking utensils so eat at home if that is your preference. A gas barbecue is available in the main garden for the use of all guests. Otherwise, enjoy one of the many fine dining restaurants on West 10th Avenue, two blocks away.
The kitchen/living room are one space and this area also has a small table and chair(s), a loveseat with a pull out single bed and a TV/VCR with multi-channel cablevision. The garden suite has a phone for free local outgoing calls. |
| The garden suite looks out onto this bricked-in patio and onto the Plum Tree in the main garden where there is a Mexican hammock for your rest and enjoyment. This patio is a great spot to sit and take in a little sun, or watch for the many birds that visit our garden - Woodpeckers, Hummingbirds, Stellars Blue Jays and more. In the spring and summer, there are many butterflies including the Swallowtail butterfly seen on each page of this web site. |

Garden Suite Bedroom

The bedroom in the garden suite has a queen size, very comfortable bed, bedside tables, a closet, suitcase rack and built in drawers and shelves. The bedroom looks out onto the north garden - the rhododendrons and the Magnolia tree.
The garden suite's private bathroom has a shower, toilet and pedestal sink. The floors and walls are finished in cobalt blue and white tiles and there is a small stained glass window of a Palm tree.

The Garden suite is a self-catering suite. Breakfasts are not included. The rate is $175 Canadian per night or $1125 Canadian per week. For extra persons, a surcharge of $30 per person per night applies. | |
