The Penthouse
Peak Season Rates apply for May 1st until October 9th, the day after Canadian Thanksgiving
$250 Canadian per night

Rates are for double occupancy.
Minimum stay in the Penthouse Suite is 3 nights but shorter stay requests will be permitted if we have an appropriate booking gap.
A $30 CDN surcharge applies per person per night for extra persons beyond double occupancy.

The Penthouse is a self-catering vacation rental or short-stay suite well suited for business people, academics or others who need or prefer our very central location, quiet neighbourhood and affordable luxury. Bookings of one week or longer are given preference particularly in the peak seasn.
Breakfasts are not included in the Penthouse rates as this is a vacation rental suite. The suite does contain a basic supply of tea, milk, sugar, etc. at the time of your arrival. Additional supplies are available at the many bakeries, delis, grocery & produce outlets on West 10th Avenue, 2 blocks away, in the Point Grey Village, a boutique urban village with many gift shops, casual cafes, coffee houses and fine dining restaurants.
The Penthouse Suite is a home-away-from-home with its private entrance, private bathroom, substantial kitchenette/dining room, living area with adobe fireplace, a king size bed, a window seat, 2 balconies with lots of outdoor furniture and views of the mountains. A TV/DVD, phone with free local calling, high speed internet, a BBQ and shared use of the grand canyon hot tub in the garden are all provided, along with high quality linens and bedding, towels, dishes and cooking utensils. This is a luxurious suite!

The Garden Suite
Peak Season rates apply from May 1st until October 8th , 2007 (inclusive)
$175 per night
$1125 Canadian per week (7nights)
A $30 per person per night surcharge applies for more than 2 people
Rates in the garden suite are based on double occupancy. Minimum stay is 5 nights but again, please ask, as shorter stays will be confirmed if we have a booking gap or they will be booked tentatively, and confirmed 7 days prior.
Lower Season rates apply for Oct 9 - Dec 13, 2007
$155 per night or $950 per week
Book more than two weeks and we will discount the rate to $750 per week

Our Garden Suite is rented as a self-catering, vacation rental or short stay suite for short stay guests, looking for our very central location, quiet neighbourhood, and all the comforts of home. Linens, towels and all cooking utensils and dishes are included. It has a private entrance, private bathroom, private phone line, high speed internet access to your laptop, a kitchenette with fridge, microwave/convection oven, electric cooktop, TV/VCR, CD/radio and use of the BBQ and hot tub in the garden. Breakfast is not included. A basic supply of tea, sugar and milk, etc. will be in the suite at the time of your arrival. Additional supplies of food may be purchsed on West 10th Avenue, 2 blocks away, at any of the many grocery & produce stores, bakeries, delis, etc. On West 10th, you will also find many casual cafes and coffee houses, as well as some of the best restaurants in the city.

Magnolia Room

The Magnolia Room
PEAK SEASON RATES apply May 1 - Oct 9th, 2008
Single Occupancy: $130 Canadian per night or $860 Canadian per week
Double Occupancy: $155 Canadian per night or $995 Canadian per week
Rates in the Magnolia Room include breakfast which is served in the main floor dining area from 0800 until 09:30 am. on weekdays from from 0900 until 10:00 a.m. on Sundays. If you need an earlier breakfast we will provide a 'breakfast in a bag'.
OFF-PEAK RATES take effect after Canadian Thanksgiving, on Tuesday, October 9th, until April 30th, 2008
Single occupancy: $120 CDN per night $805 per week
Double occupancy: $140 CDN per night $880 per week
There are no taxes or other fees.

Payment:
For all stays in the self-catering vaction rental suites: Payment required is 50% (half) to confirm, at the time of booking (the deposit) and the balance is due 4 weeks prior to occupancy. For stays of less than one week, the full amount is payable at the time the booking is confirmed.
For B & B stays / the Magnolia Room: if you are staying 4 nights or less, we require payment in full at the time of booking. For longer stays, we require 50% to confirm the booking and the balance is due on arrival.
Both the 50% deposit and the payment of the balance due may be paid in the form of cash, traveler's cheques, or by credit card including Visa or Mastercard.
If either the deposit or the balance are received in the form of $USD cash, we will honour the bank exchange rate (at our bank) on the day we receive the funds.
Payment by email transfer is possible for guests with a Canadian bank account and hopefully our banks will eventually allow for us to accept international email transfers.
Personal cheques written on Canadian accounts will be accepted for deposits when paying for the self-catering suites or for the Magnolia Room as long as payment is received in sufficient time for clearing of the cheque. Personal cheques are not accepted for the balance due on arrival when paying for either B & B / Magnolia Room bookings nor for an payments after arrival. To hasten confirmation of reservation, cheques should be sent by Express Post.
Credit card payments of both the deposit and the balance must be accompanied by a signed authorization - we will send the form by email attachment. After filling in the details and signing, you should return this form by fax within 24 hours if possible; and otherwise by post after discussing first with us.
